We would like to emphasize and make it absolutely clear, that the monetary aspects should not be the primary motivation and consideration for the node operators. Especially, not at this stage of the project (pre-market rollout). Currently running validator nodes are meant for early supporters, who do it because they believe in the project, and are willing to actively support its development over the next years. Although, these validator nodes have a much lower energy consumption compared to the PoW (Proof of Work) miner, they are presently not refinancing themselves. In order to reach this, it will require more transactions on the eCredits Blockchain.
